Friday evening, June 10th, 2011, citizens of El Paso marched across the International Bridge to Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to join la Caravana por Paz y Justicia, led by Mexican poet Javier Sicilia and citizens of our sister city to protest the on-going violence in Mexico, especially in Juarez. When I have the opportunity, I will add more about this event and the pact that was signed by organizations on both sides of the river.
