We all need the reminder. And I never knew anything about agave plants nor the feud of cats and mockingbirds. I bookmarked their site on my iPad and plan to go back later today and order some of their books. What fun!

Btw, I found your blog through your CP press site because I finally got a chance to review Harvey Goldner's awesome poetry book on Amazon last night. I emailed a copy of my review to your son because he's the one who sent it to me to review. But my 5 star review went up a few minutes after that so you can see it on Amazon now. Thanks again for publishing that book. Like Harvey, it totally ROCKS!! ~bighug~Laura Stampshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09787962821365250964noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7444082152312444929.post-79894574962281172842013-11-19T18:17:54.528-07:002013-11-19T18:17:54.528-07:00Bob and I began exchanging letters after Jim Cody ...Bob and I began exchanging letters after Jim Cody was killed in a car wreck in Lubbock. I had known him when I'd been at UTEP from 1975-77 and was glad to take up our conversations by letter. I enjoyed the exchange of letters and the exchange of poems with letters. His spoke from an ancient place, and helped me calm down when I got worked up by this political or that. I hoped to make it out there to see him and his wife with her paintings. I got sick and had not such luck.
Chuck Taylorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07020953662320904603noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7444082152312444929.post-75725676251274941502013-10-18T16:53:34.119-06:002013-10-18T16:53:34.119-06:00Bobby,

They both came with nice letters from the poet. I never would have known about Tim, and, I guess, more importantly, Sylvia and the life story of the Staley family the we can all benefit from. Is benefit the right word? I think I've learned a bit more about life by reading Tim's poetry. It provides context that testifies that my life is one (little?) type of life, and there's this (much bigger) experience. Whatever the case, thank you so much for posting the blog about Tim's poetry & Grandma Moses Press. All the best to you!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7444082152312444929.post-84984956218331211492013-10-17T12:41:05.718-06:002013-10-17T12:41:05.718-06:00well now and by-golly...
